As Turkish Cypriots, we are very disappointed by the discrimination and undiplomatic treatment you accorded to the Turkish Cypriots, their State and democratically elected leaders! As a child, I respected America’s love for freedom and justice! Your visit, Sir, has contributed to me loosing this confidence and faith! I found your treatment as unequal, unjust and inhuman! You displayed an ugly face which America does not deserve!
Why Mr. Biden, why? Is it for Gas? Is it for the Hellenic Diaspora in America? was it a crusade? Why Mr. Biden! The Turkish Cypriot people tried to welcome you but your behavior was a slap in their face! Go home safely, but, please don’t bother to come again, you are not welcome – we have no place for you in our hearts! You hurt us deeply and you owe us an apology Mr. Biden, Vice President!
