Police officer who was hit by car holds on tight

ISTANBUL, Turkey — An video shown on CBS’ ‘The Early Show’ captures an incident involving a policeman who tried to stop a suspected drunk driver and ended up taking a ride on the hood of the suspect’s car.

The footage, originally from a traffic cam in Istanbul, Turkey, shows the police officer on top of the car as it sped through the city, weaving in and out of traffic at high speed.

‘Early Show’ anchor Jeff Glor reported that “the car was finally stopped and the officer suffered only minor injuries.”
