Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic has thanked Turkey for being “a friend of Croatia during the country’s hardest times.” Milanovic made his remarks during a meeting with Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek in Zagreb on Tuesday. He added that Croatia would support Turkey’s EU bid after the country became the EU’s newest member on July 1.
