   DARWIN’S UNSCIENTIFIC ALLEGATIONS ABOUT THE TURKS

   Darwin included the Turkish nation among those he imagined to be inferior. Darwin of course knew that the Muslim Turkish nation was not a “backward” one at all. He also knew that it had established great civilizations and a great culture and moral values, particularly in the shape of the Ottoman Empire. He knew that in Europe’s most backward times, the Turkish and other Muslim nations were highly advanced in science, medicine, technology and social order. But he still, in the light of his own poor reason, insisted on referring to the Turkish Nation as “backward” and to depict it as such. The main aim behind this deliberate racism of Darwin’s was to serve 19th century European imperialism. The European states of the time were busy fragmenting and dividing up the Ottoman Empire among themselves and by describing the Turkish Nation, the main element in the Ottoman Empire, as “backward” according to his own sinister logic, Darwin came up with a myth that would bestow a supposed legitimacy on the imperialist plan.

   These lines referring to the Turkish Nation are obviously nonsense, the product of a fanatical hatred and a profound ignorance of what Turkishness means.

   However, some European countries exposed to the influence of this vile propaganda embarked on actions intended to destroy the Turkish Nation, and the end of the Ottoman Empire was the product of that deviant mindset. It must not be forgotten that this wild mindset is still around in some communities today. Therefore, it is essential to be aware of and recognize this sinister aspect of Darwinism if the dark plans of Darwinists and materialists, who claim that “the destruction of the Turkish Nation is a requirement of the law of nature and will contribute to the progress of civilization,” are to be thwarted. Every Turk who loves his nation and homeland has a responsibility to oppose Darwinism, to reject this racist ideology and to do all in his power to expose its falsity.

   It is an absolute nonsense to oppose the core premise of Darwinism, which is Evolution by Natural Selection and has been proven to be a scientific fact over and over again. What has to be opposed is Social Darwinism that wouldn’t allow the frail and the weak to survive in our society. Our moral values do not allow Social Darwinism to take course in many instances such as welfare and aged care. However, this doesn’t preclude the fact that Natural Selection is prevalent in all aspects of natural and social interactions, and that no matter how much we object them, the stronger ones may prevail. As much as a species can go extinct due to an inaptness to changing natural conditions, a civilization or a culture can also go extinct for the same reasons. When opposing Darwin’s statement, one should remember that they were made in mid 19th century England, that prejudice in Christendom was as much rampant as in Islamdom, and the Turks having been the leading Islamic power of the time, were sited, not to mention that the Ottoman Empire was the British Empire’s rival to be eliminated, and political correctness was not yet invented on either side. So, taking offence from such a statement is nothing short of being childish, especially for the purpose of opposing a scientific theory.

   Objectively, if one overlooks the racist undertones of his statement, which are obviously unacceptable, they are consistent with the facts of Natural Selection. Simply put, the decline of the Ottoman Empire was nothing more than an inaptness to adapt to changing “natural” conditions. Had Darwin lived long enough to see the emergence of Turkey from the ashes of the Ottoman Empire, thanks to the genius of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, I don’t think that he we would have dismissed the survival of a nation adapting to the changing conditions, which would only re-enforce the validity of his Theory of Evolution seen live in action. It should be noted that the failing of a civilization or culture cannot be directly attributed to the inferiority of its subjects/citizens/individuals, but to the shortcomings of its structure and government which are shaped by various internal and external ever changing factors.

   Fact: the Ottoman Empire collapsed, therefore was inapt to survive.
   Fact: Turkey emerged from the ashes of the Ottoman Empire, therefore the Turkish culture, which adapted, survived against great odds.
   Fact: Natural Selection is at work in all interactions.

   Lets do not forget that Darwin was a good scientist but a bad politician even with the standards of his own time. Instead of arguing with the Darwinism’s principles, I would rather beat the SOB with his own words. He says,

   I think he was right by saying that the West was indeed overwhelmed by the TURKS and their psyche was molded by the fear of the TURK. This is unfortunately still the same in current Europe as we have seen deep ın their mind while senselessly resist Turkiye’s membership to their so-called civilized society, EU. Even Darwin’s time they have thought themselves that that the fear was a ridiculous idea and tried to free themselves from that terrible psyche. Darwin’s words on Turks as well as his favorite Caucasian race do not hold today. He should have been alive following the Disaster of Dardanelles as British calls it for the Çanakkale Wars. Darwin would have had another prediction on the more civilized Caucasian race, if he had a chance to see the WWII, and never mind of their recent atrocities in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan against the human race.

   He would have eaten his own words and spit on his so-called civilized(!) Caucasian Race thousands of times if he had a chance to see the creation of the current Turkish State, TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ, and his Grand Creator Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK.

   What the TURKS need is to emulate the same strategy to free themselves from the present ınferiority complex imposed by the west , as west used for centuries to free themselves from the bounds of Turkish fear.

   Believing a false idea does not make it any more real than the golden unicorn! The website you are referring to (http://www.confessionsofevolutionists.com) and the others alike are creationist propaganda websites based on fallacies at best. The sheer number of misinformed people doesn’t make what they believe a fact. A fact needs to be proven, and to disprove a theory, one needs to be able to build a water tight argument that demonstrates scientifically a contrary case. The argument of not being able to assemble a jumbo jet by shaking the contents of a junkyard containing all the components is moronic at best. First of all, an aircraft is the result of an evolutionary and a design process where the components are also designed specifically. The evolutionary part stems from insect flight all the way to bird flight on top of which hundreds of years of failed human flight attempts trying to mimic the natural examples. As opposed to what is claimed that an aircraft is of irreducible complexity, therefore cannot evolve is absurd. Every single aircraft is the result of evolutionary design from a previous model. The process does not involve sexual reproduction as aircraft are simply not made that way, but manufactured! Therefore their evolution is through their designers’ conception of what features are desirable to keep in their next iteration.

   Attempting to counter a written comment by referring to a third party website with no scientific credibility is simply an indication of insincerity and lack of posing a logical argument with one’s own words. One only refers to a third party work when that work is peer reviewed, is reproducible and has scientific merit or is a commonly accepted definition, otherwise one makes own comments and arguments with logical inferences. When applying logic, one also has to apply the same scrutiny to all arguments and not just pick the ones that suit one’s agenda. Being literate does not make everyone a scientist, and more importantly, even a statement made by a scientist who fails to prove his or her reasoning through established scientific logical procedures doesn’t make it any more factual than the golden unicorn!
   Your agenda here seems to be to oppose the Theory of Evolution by defaming Charles Darwin in the eyes of the Turkish people. You are trying to appeal to the Turkish people’s nationalistic sentiments to prove that Darwin must have been wrong in all his statements and research. The Nazis disregarded Einstein’s work on grounds of his ethnicity, and yet this didn’t change the fact that Einstein was right about the Theory of Relativity, and that he was also right about E=mc2. This is a common trick used by demagogues, and it is called “argumentum ad hominem”, which means that you are attacking the person to discredit a fact.     When you are trying to counter an argument, you shouldn’t be quoting other people’s irrelevant words, be sincere and put up your own arguments.

    Going back to the transitional fossils about primates; recent genetic discoveries also support indisputably the shared ancestry theory between apes and humans. How so? Very simple: the first evidence is about the number of chromosomes that humans and apes have. Humans have 23 chromosomes and apes 24. I can hear you saying “Ha! You said it yourself, we have different chromosomes, we can’t be related!!!”. But when we look closely to human chromosome number 2, it displays an odd behaviour; normal chromosomes have at each end a strand of DNA called telomere, and at the middle a centromere. The human chromosome number 2 contains a short telomere at each end, and a double sized telomere at the middle, and two centromeres roughly at quarter distance from each end. This is proof undeniable that the human chromosome number 2 was the result of 2 chromosomes fusing together. This shows that the human DNA has transitioned from an earlier version. And this is called E-VI-DENCE in the face of empty statements like creationism. Next time you reply to my arguments, please show the decency of addressing every single point that you think that are wrong, then put forward your own argument to defeat them.     I am so curious to see your reply in the face of irrefutable evidence against everything you wrote. I admit that Darwin may have been racist and prejudicial in his comments about Turks, but it doesn’t tarnish his Theory of Evolution in the slightest. He may be a failed politician, but he was a brilliant scientist. If he had lived long enough, his scientific approach would have made him see how wrong he was about Turks, and I doubt that he would have had any problem admitting it in the face of evidence, which would be the emergence of the Turkish Republic from the ashes of the Ottoman Empire.

    A piece of advice next time you want to argue about science; check your facts, then once again to avoid ridicule! On the other hand, defeating arguments like yours make life so much fun, do go on. It is just child play for people aware of facts to defeat such arguments.     It is just like making a fool of own self. The question must have certainly been raised by Turkish nationalists who have been too much cautious about own self by the time of Mustafa Kamal Leadership. It is that cautiousness that is eliminating even the existing races and nationalities of the smallest area that they possess now of their great past empire. In the past many Arabs and even Abyssinians had migrated to the area who lived and fought on the side of Turks without any greed not because they considered Turks to be superior or heavenly to them, now when Turks are cautious to nationalism are being left alone.
    It is seen often that a mad man is often rediculed and chased by children considering him a fool because of his being disturbed and shouting at them. They enjoy that hurling stones and making cries. If the man is acting normally and taking no notice then they get bored. Let every one say anything freely which is one’s idea he is used to. To Europeans eating sitting on a ground with spread sheet, having meal together, remaining restricted to wives, chopping the heads of plunderers, criminals and adulterers are barbaric acts; though if they have been killing their own kinsmen in the name of churches and crusades has been all right. The simpler manners and straight forward typical Turkic nature has been considered by many nations as inferiority of their nature. A Muslim scholar of India writes in his book about Islamic manners that ‘ make marry a girl of Seyyed family(The claimed descendants of fourth Caliph Ali) in a reasonable family and do not marry her to some inferior person for example to some Mughal(Mongol/Turk) or Pathan(Afghan). HIstory defines that the best rulers of India have been Turks and Afghans. I was not alarmed to see that but was sad of being his as an Islamic scholar. Islam says that all people are the children of one father and mother and their is no distinction or degree between them but by only that of piety and good nature.
    Never mind whether Darwin or any other scholar uses such a sentence we honour the learned people.

Haluk, you asked for one transitional example, I have given you more than one example. The evidence that I have presented should convince any reasonable individual with an intellect exceeding that of a door knob! I consider your stance as a defeat and I will no longer dignify your link postings unless you come up with your own arguments.

    Haluk, for the record, the link you posted is a quote from the notorious paedophile and con man Harun Yahya’s website. I am not making an ad hominem argument, just stating his credibility in life, especially when such a person sues other people for defamation!

    What is more amazing is that this same individual obtained an injunction from the Turkish courts to ban access to Richard Dawkins’ website promoting the Theory of Evolution, on grounds that it was inciting division and hatred among people. Let alone the frivolous nature of this act, it shows how far Evolution is suppressed in Turkey from the highest levels. First of all, courts have no jurisdiction on scientific facts, second of all where is the freedom of expression? That freedom seems to be only extended to con men like Harun Yahya, who have no problem stealing pictures from a tackle-shop catalogue to use them in his moronic book about refuting Evolution. The hooks of the tackles are clearly visible on the pictures he is quoting as evidence in his deluded mind towards disproving evolution. I will not name this moronic book in order not to dignify it, but it is the one with glossy pages that he sent for free all over the world to educational institutions. He`s got some serious money to burn this guy! And Richard Dawkins was one of the lucky ones to received a copy as he is one of the eminent Evolutionists on the planet. After opening a random page, Prof Dawkins soon realised that it was full of factual errors and nonsense. Following his statement of the kind about the book, the infamous Harun Yahya filed a law suit in Turkey to ban Dawkins’ website, and he succeeded! Who is now silencing whom? One individual who sends his non-scientific book to a scientist without any solicitation where the scientist expresses his views on the book and gets banned in Turkey. What a cosmic joke!!! I am ashamed to see the “Banned in Turkey” banner whenever I visit Dawkins’ website. Oh, yeah, if you are in Turkey, you can’t access it because of the freedom of expression in Turkey that you claim silences creationism, oh, no, wasn’t that Evolution that was banned instead?

    And TÜBITAK, instead of following suit in a frenzy of censorship about Darwin, should be making a submission to the courts that banned Dawkins’ website to revert their decision. But why should they? It suits all well with their current policy.

    You were trying to disprove the Theory of Evolution using an argument ad hominem on Darwin. As a scientist myself, I simply don’t care about his political views. Racism in the 19th Century wasn’t in the monopoly of the West, the East was as racist if not more. Women are seen as second class today in most if not all Moslem countries. Does this discredit the fact that Arabs excelled in Mathematics in the 8th Century? Not at all! But with your logic, because women are treated as second class in most Arab countries, we should not use Algebra. Way to go for science!

    I have not contradicted myself in any of my arguments, nor did I present any false facts, as you have continuously done. Therefore I lost none of my credibility. And you should be a peer of mine to assert that by presenting evidence. You do have a PhD in science, right? Since you are so well versed in presenting evidence. Not!
    Again, your are trying to discredit the scientific facts presented in a forum that may or may not be registered on this planet. Who cares! Your only recourse is argument ad hominem.

We do know why Mr Tahtali doesn’t give a damn about Turks and Turkishness… He is too busy with his futile attempts to rescue Darwin.     These suggestions, which might at first sight appear capable of misleading someone unaware of the true face of Darwinism, its sinister logic and the scourges and oppression it has inflicted on the world, are in fact a brand new initiative from Darwinists, who have for years been misleading humanity with the worst mass deception in history. Seeing that Darwinism religion has been brought to the ground, Darwinists have sought a solution in portraying Darwinism as an innocent ideology opposed to racism.

    BUT THIS IS A HUGE FRAUD AND A TERRIBLE LIE.

    The truth of the matter is this:

Looking to the world at no very distant date, WHAT AN ENDLESS NUMBER OF THE LOWER RACES WILL HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED BY THE HIGHER CIVILISED RACES throughout the world.[i]

    There is no other way of interpreting Darwin’s words. Since the racist Darwin openly regarded the Turkish nation as an INFERIOR NATION, he believed that the TURKISH RACE would shortly be eliminated, WIPED OUT IN OTHER WORDS, by supposed “SUPERIOR RACES,” meaning the peoples of Europe.

    This opinion of Darwin’s about the Turks was openly put into practice regarding other societies. DARWINISM IS THE SOLE CAUSE of the racist massacres, oppression and slaughters that took place in the Second World War and after. Because according to the ideology of Darwinism, human beings were just a species of animal, for which reason there was an inevitable struggle for survival among the races. Leading fascists holding that belief by drawing strength only from Darwinism perpetrated their ruthless killings and murders, destroyed whole peoples, made no allowances for women and children, and caused the deaths of hundreds of millions.

    Peter Chrisp, author of the book The Rise of Fascism, makes this quite clear in the words “The Nazis distorted Darwin’s theories… using them to justify warfare and racism.”[ii] The historian R. Hickman also describes how Hitler was influenced by Darwinism:

    [Hitler] was a firm believer and preacher of evolution. Whatever the deeper, profound, complexities of his psychosis, it is certain that his book, Mein Kampf, clearly set forth a number of evolutionary ideas, particularly those emphasizing struggle, survival of the fittest and the extermination of the weak to produce a better society. [iii]

    The conclusion from these facts about fascist racism is clear; Darwinism is what is “truly” responsible for both all fascist regimes and the two world wars. Fascists draw their basic beliefs from Darwinism. Principles such as chaos, ruthlessness, oppression and strong being right are all inherent in this perverted system that regards chance as a creative force. The principle of continual struggle in Darwinism lays the philosophical groundwork for endless savagery, oppression and slaughter. Therefore IT IS DARWIN WHO INFLICTED THE PHILOSOPHY OF FASCISM ON THE WORLD.

    It is Darwin who is principally responsible for a century of mass slaughter by spreading the idea that human beings are descended from primitive animals and that undeveloped animals need to be destroyed. It is also Darwin who inflicted racism and fascism on the world and savagery, devastation and oppression on the people in it. And it is Darwin who regarded the Turkish nation as an inferior race, who had no compunctions about openly stating that, and who, since he believed the Turks were an “inferior race,” was determined they should be eliminated, thus making him the worst fascist in history.

    That is the view that publications suggesting that Darwin was “opposed to racism” should be taking into account of the worst racist and fascist of all time, a man who claimed the Turkish nation was an inferior race and wished to see it eliminated. Darwinism is the sole and fundamental reason why the world suffered years of tyranny under the bloody rule of racism and fascism. The mass deceptions Darwinists have perpetrated over the last 150 years or so have now come to an end in absolute defeat. By trying to deceive people into thinking that the worst fascist in history was actually “opposed to racism,” Darwinists merely make themselves look ridiculous. People no longer believe in the lies of Darwinism and Darwinists.

    THE RACISM THAT REGARDS BLACK PEOPLE AS ‘MONKEYS’

    According to you, any fact mentioned by a person with whom you disagree on moral grounds should be wrong. So, if Hitler said that the sky is blue, you would claim that because he said it, the sky cannot be blue. And I am sure that he must have mentioned somewhere that the sky is blue one time or another in his worthless life. How on earth a good Muslim of your dear ummah can stab the Caliph’s army behind like that by joining with the kafirs? And they made the Emir of Medina as the first king. Where in Arab history and literature a word “kingdom” or “king” exist? I am sure you are fluent with Arabic to find this fast. We only know a leader can be named as Emir or Sultan or Imam etc. but never as a king in Arabic. So, please check your non-racist non-nationalist brothers whether they can back you up in Cyprus issue for example? Never mind that their close collaboration with the state of Israel in the case of Gaza issue, contrary to your country’s afford to bring peace to Palestinians.     As a matter of fact if you are a good Muslim you should support all God’s creatures equally and fairly not just the Muslims. If you remember, the Surat-ul Fatiha which starts with”Elhamdulillahi Rabbil Alemin” it does not say “Elhamdulillahi Rabbil Muslimin” does it? I am sure you are also knowledgeable with the related story about this which took place during the Caliphate of Harun-i Reşit, the imam Behlül who ıinstructed the surah with Muslimin based on his dislike of the Caliph’s behavior on non-Muslims during the day. Three times Caliph corrected the imam as “Alemin” but imam again insisted on “Muslimin” and finally Caliph dropped from the pray and shouted at the imam; What is wrong with you? Can’t you recite even the most important surah correctly? And Behlul replied to him “Look at you ya Emir-ul Muslimin!.. For a small mistake of mine you left the pray, what will you do when you’re on the day of judgment when you asked about your treatment of your non-Muslim citizens? That was the golden times of Islam I guess. No wonder why today almost all of the Islamic countries on earth are suffering under the oppression(zulüm) of the tyrants. They can’t even help each-other either, unfortunately.
