Greetings to you ALL,

Let’s get together to share our favorite poems on ‘LIVING’, LOVE AND NATURE by NAZIM HIKMET (15 January 1902 – 3 June 1963) to celebrate the Poet’s 120th Birth Anniversary in NYC on FRIDAY, JUNE 17 at 2PM (EST).

Some of you may remember that we had celebrated the Poet’s 100th Birth Anniversary in NYC on May 2, 2002 with the following titled public program: “To Many More Millennia Dear NAZIM…”

Now, merging the Poet’s 120th Birth Anniversary celebration with The Light Millennium, Charitable Global Human Advancement Organization’s (LMGlobal.Org) 21st Anniversary (17 July 2001) and the Annual Meeting, which is dedicated to: GLOBAL PEACE

Please email theme related three short poems by the Poet to be presented during the program and/or questions (deadline extended) by June 14, 2022 to > [email protected].

Please note:
1. Language: English and Turkish
(This program will be presented in three sections, and only poetry section will be bilingual.)
2. If the same titled poem is sent by others, accordingly, always the first sender will have the priority to present that particular poem.  Thus, please email up to 3 titles as your 1st, 2nd and 3rd preferences.
3. Each presenter may have up to 3 min. presenting time.
4. MEET & GREET in person from 12:30 PM to 13:30 PM
5. PROGRAM: 2:00 – 4:00PM (Hybrid)
