The United Nations\u2019 (UN) Universal Children\u2019s Day is an occasion to promote the welfare of children and an understanding between children all over the world. It is held on November 20 each year.<\/p>\n

Happy National Children Day<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

National Child Day is celebrated in Canada on November 20 in recognition of the UN Declaration on the Rights of the Child and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is the perfect time for young Canadians to express themselves and shape their own future.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Federation of Canadian Turkish Associations,\u00a0FCTA commemorates\u00a0National Child Day\u00a0The day commemorates Canada\u2019s ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child that spells out the basic human rights to which children under the age of 18 are entitled.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On behalf of Turkish Community, FCTA offers love and goodwill to all the children and youths, as well as, parents who have an important part in nurturing and developing them.<\/span><\/span>The National Children\u2019s Day is meant for children and youths to recognize their significance in the society. They need to be aware of their rights, duties, responsibility, and disciplines by studying hard, being well-behaved, listening to parents and guardians, being well disciplined, having volunteering spirit, sharing, being united, being thoughtful, loving themselves, their families,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>their communities,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>their country and all the people in the world.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span>The Federation of Canadian Turkish Associations,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>FCTA encourages Turkish Canadians to acknowledge National Child Day and celebrate children, who are Canada\u2019s future leaders.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>

On behalf of Turkish Canadians, the Federation of Canadian Turkish Associations encourages all Canadians\u00a0<\/span><\/span>to celebrate Multi-Cultural Children’s Day Festival across Canada too. The 23rd April<\/span><\/span> Multi-cultural Children\u2019s Day is a children\u2019s festival which was gifted to all children in the world by Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk, founder of the Republic of Turkey, to mark the opening of the Turkish National Assembly on April 23, 1920. The festival has been celebrated internationally since 1979. The Festival intends to contribute creation of a world where children can live peacefully by developing sentiments of fraternity, love and friendship and now April 23rd<\/span><\/span> is recognized by UNICEF as International\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Children\u2019s Day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
