After 12 years of extensive studies in his observatory, he compiled his findings in 2 books named&nbsp;<em>Zey\u00e7 K\u00fcrkani<\/em>&nbsp;and Zey\u00e7<em>&nbsp;Cedit Sultani&nbsp;<\/em><strong><em>both of which later translated into almost all European and several Eastern languages and made great contributions to the field.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During these laborious studies Ulu\u011f Bey worked with a colleague from the Ottoman Empire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2- <strong>Kad\u0131zade-i Rumi from Bursa City:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"485\" src=\"https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Kadizade-i-Rumi-from-Bursa-City.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-824033\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Kadizade-i-Rumi-from-Bursa-City.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Kadizade-i-Rumi-from-Bursa-City-247x300.jpg 247w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kad\u0131zade-i Rumi as a well-educated mathematician and astronomer, tutored Ulu\u011f Bey, managed the observatory during that time but sadly, he died in Samarkand, a little while before their 12 year of observatory study came to its conclusion. He notably took the field of mathematics one step further by expanding and simplifying the algebra method developed by G\u0131yaseddin Cem\u015fid for calculating the sine of a degree arc. Kad\u0131zade-i Rumi wrote countless books in his lifetime and trained many disciples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3- <strong>Ali Ku\u015f\u00e7u:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"194\" height=\"306\" src=\"https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/ali-kuscu.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-824034\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/ali-kuscu.jpg 194w, https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/ali-kuscu-190x300.jpg 190w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 194px) 100vw, 194px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ali Ku\u015f\u00e7u was born in Samarkand(Uzbekistan) and died in \u0130stanbul(T\u00fcrkiye). He was a hezarfen(a person who is an expert on multiple fields) and also a part of the observatory team. He took over the management of the observatory after Kad\u0131zade\u2019s demise.&nbsp;<strong><em>He is best known for delivering the first astronomical map of the Moon.<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;He even went to China to carry out his studies and on his return, he calculated the Earth&#8217;s surface area and the ecliptic as 24 degrees. He later worked for Akkoyunlu Turcoman state as an advisor and finally the Ottoman Empire as a lecturer.
