With the belief of Shamanism, tree is entered daily life and accepted as a tool of communication. All the meanings that the tree of life encompasses are reflected on traditions. Tree of life is used as a motive in architecture and handicrafts of Anatolian realm in Turkish culture before and after Islam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new interpretation of tree is observed in the festivities and weddings organised in the Ottoman Empire with the use of three dimensional nah\u0131ls in different sizes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"528\" height=\"774\" src=\"https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/nahillarin-gecidi.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-823490\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/nahillarin-gecidi.png 528w, https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/nahillarin-gecidi-205x300.png 205w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 528px) 100vw, 528px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nah\u0131l is an object which is\u00a0used in weddings and festivals resembling a palm tree with its conic shape getting thinner as it goes upwards and is decorated with ornaments in different shapes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meaning ascribed to nah\u0131l coincides with the meaning ascribed to the tree. Nah\u0131ls which draw all the attention to themselves are important indicators in terms of sharing power and beauty with the society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Historians mention the existence and technical features of nah\u0131ls in small and large scales.
