Dewael’e vekaleten soruyu yan\u0131tlayan Devlet Sekreteri Jean-Marc D\u00e9liz\u00e9e, \u015fu a\u00e7\u0131klamay\u0131 yapt\u0131: “\u00d6zg\u00fcden’in dosyas\u0131, tehdide maruz \u015fahsiyetlerin, kamu g\u00f6revlilerinin ve bireylerin korunmas\u0131na ili\u015fkin Ba\u015fsavc\u0131lar Kurulu Genelgesi uyar\u0131nca Genel Kriz Merkezi Y\u00f6netimi’ne iletilmi\u015ftir. Ancak teslim etmek gerekir ki, \u00d6zg\u00fcden’le ilgili olarak al\u0131nan koruma \u00f6nlemlerinin neler oldu\u011funun a\u00e7\u0131klanmas\u0131 kendisinin g\u00fcvenli\u011fi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan m\u00fcmk\u00fcn de\u011fildir.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Senat\u00f6r Dubi\u00e9 bakan\u0131n bu a\u00e7\u0131klamas\u0131yla gazetecinin koruma alt\u0131na al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00fcvencesi verilmi\u015f oldu\u011funu umdu\u011funu s\u00f6yledi. D\u00e9liz\u00e9e de, senat\u00f6r\u00fc, “Bunu teyid ediyoruz,” diye yan\u0131tlad\u0131.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Do\u011fan \u00d6zg\u00fcden, ayr\u0131ca, kendisine kar\u015f\u0131 \u015fiddet ve lin\u00e7 k\u0131\u015fk\u0131rtmas\u0131 yapanlar aleyhine Kraliyet Savc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131’na bir \u015fikayet dosyas\u0131 iletmi\u015f bulunuyor. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

11.12.08 – 19:38 –\u00a0\u00a0(Belga) -A Belgian journalist of Turkish origin, Dogan \u00d6zg\u00fcden, who edits the independent internet site “Info-T\u00fcrk”, has been taken under protection by Belgian authorities after the menaces against his integrity, announced on Thursday. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. \u00d6zg\u00fcden had recently echoed a ceremony at the Turkish Embassy during which Turkish National Defense Minister Vecdi G\u00f6n\u00fcl, according to Info-T\u00fcrk, praised the policy of deportation of Greeks and Armenians from Turkey. Again according to Info-T\u00fcrk, during the ceremony, Turkish Ambassador Fuat Tanlay himself read a poem praising the Turkish flag and full of hatred: “I dig the grave of those who do not watch you with my eyes. I ruin \u00a0the nest of birds which fly without greeting you.”<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Following this information calling into question these authorities, many pro-government sites, of which Belt\u00fcrk, have launched against Info-T\u00fcrk a campaign going up to incitement to lynching its chief editor, Dogan \u00d6zg\u00fcden, according to Senator Josy Dubi\u00e9 who questioned on Thursday Interior Minister Patrick Dewael if particular measures were taken for this journalist’s protection.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“The file of Mr. \u00d6zg\u00fcden has been transmitted to the Crisis Center General Directory within the frame of the circular letter (…) of the Board of General Prosecutors by the Appeal Courts concerning the protection of personalities, public servants and private persons under menace”,<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span> said at the Senate the State Secretary\u00a0Jean-Marc D\u00e9liz\u00e9e who replaced Mr. Dewael. “You should understand however that for the interest of Mr. \u00d6zg\u00fcden’s security, it is not possible to communicate possible measures of protection that were taken as regards him,”<\/span><\/em> he added.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Senator Dubi\u00e9 said he hopes that the minister’s reply means that the concerned has been placed under protection. “I confirm it,”<\/span><\/em> said Mr. D\u00e9liz\u00e9e in answer. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dogan \u00d6zg\u00fcden has also put a complaint to the Royal Prosecutor against the instigators to violence and lynching.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
