As &#8220;Armenpress&#8221; reports Turkish newspaper &#8220;Zaman&#8221; informs about that.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-67851\" alt=\"711725\" src=\"https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/711725.jpg\" width=\"310\" height=\"233\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/711725.jpg 310w, https:\/\/www.turkishnews.com\/en\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/711725-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 310px) 100vw, 310px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The newspaper points out that the application of notes in Turkish music started in the 19th century during the period of reign of sultan Selim III. \u00a0Due to Sultan Selim&#8217;s wish Armenian composer and musician Hambardzum Limonchyan from Constantinople discovered a type of musical notation which received the name &#8220;Hambardzum\u2019s Music Notation&#8221; in Turkey.<\/p>\n<p>Among other things the Turkish newspaper stated: &#8220;Due to that musical notation applied in Turkey in the 19th century it was possible to prevent the loss of numerous musical works created in two centuries in Turkey. The majority of those works were kept in archives for a long while.
