News\u00a0Release\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 19th<\/sup> May 2010<\/p>\n Turkish NGO\u2019s attended a meeting which was held in London\u2019s Pasha Hotel on Sunday 9th<\/sup> May 2010 to discuss the plans for Turkish Cultural Centre.\u00a0Many Turkish NGOs attended the meeting which was organised by Filiz Kirim\u00a0to brainstorm a plan for Turkish Cultural Centre where Turkish arts, music and culture can be performed and promoted.<\/p>\n The organiser of the meeting Filiz Kirim, highlighted that their intentions are non political and solely to unite Turkish NGOs to conceptualize a plan for pulchritudinous Turkish Cultural Centre, located centrally in London, a centre that Turkish Community really deserves.<\/p>\n The meeting developed into general discussion points on the mission and the structure of The Turkish Cultural Centre. The Representatives of the Turkish NGOs highlighted that they have organised a Turkish Day which many British people attended to discover Turkish Culture. \u00a0The Turkish NGOs declared that they will do all they can, including sharing their past experiences so that past failures do not occur in the future.<\/p>\n At the meeting it was unanimously agreed that the proposed Turkish Cultural Centre should be named as \u201cTurkish World Arts and Cultural Centre\u201d so that this could enable artists from all around the Turkish World to participate, perform and promote their art, pictures, music, cinema, and theatre. It was also agreed that the organisation should be a Non-Profit organisation. Furthermore at the meeting it was agreed by participants that The Yunus Emre Charity and Goethe Institute organisations examples should be looked into detail and used as an example case for the proposal.<\/p>\n Londra sivil toplum \u00f6rg\u00fctleri, \u0130ngilteredeki yabanc\u0131lara T\u00fcrk sanat\u0131n\u0131, m\u00fczi\u011fini ve k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc tan\u0131tacak, bir T\u00fcrk K\u00fclt\u00fcr Merkezi kurmak amac\u0131 ile 16 May\u0131s 2010 Pasha Hotelde topland\u0131. Toplat\u0131ya bir\u00e7ok T\u00fcrk sivil toplum \u00f6rg\u00fctleri temsilcisi kat\u0131ld\u0131.<\/p>\n Toplant\u0131da, daveti d\u00fczenleyen Filiz K\u0131r\u0131m, ama\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n siyasi olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, tek ama\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n \u0130ngilterede bireylerimizi ve sivil toplum kurulu\u015flar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 bir araya toplayarak, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin ad\u0131na yara\u015facak, Londra\u2019n\u0131n merkezinde ve g\u00fczel bir binada bir T\u00fcrk K\u00fclt\u00fcr Merkezi \u00a0kurmak oldu\u011funu ifade etti.<\/p>\n Toplant\u0131n\u0131n ana temas\u0131n\u0131, kurulacak K\u00fclt\u00fcr Merkezi i\u00e7in \u00f6ncelikle misyonunun ne olaca\u011f\u0131 ve bununla birlikte nas\u0131l bir yap\u0131lanma i\u00e7erisinde olaca\u011f\u0131 oldu.<\/p>\n Toplant\u0131da s\u00f6z alan sivil toplum \u00f6rg\u00fctleri temsilcileri, yak\u0131n ge\u00e7mi\u015fte T\u00fcrk g\u00fcn\u00fc\u00a0 d\u00fczenlendi\u011finin, bunun \u0130ngiliz toplumunda b\u00fcy\u00fck bir ilgi uyand\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade ettiler. Sivil toplum \u00f6rg\u00fctleri ayr\u0131ca bu konuda, senelere dayanan tecr\u00fcbelerini payla\u015facaklar\u0131n\u0131 ifade edip, \u201cb\u00f6ylece ge\u00e7mi\u015fte ya\u015fanan aksilikler ya\u015fanmaz\u201d diyerek g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerini bildirdiler.<\/p>\n Toplant\u0131da kurulmas\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen,T\u00fcrk K\u00fclt\u00fcr merkezinin, t\u00fcm T\u00fcrk D\u00fcnyas\u0131na hitap etmesi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan, isminin Turkish World Arts and Cultural Centre olmas\u0131na oy birli\u011fi ile karar verildi. \u00a0Be\u015f k\u0131taya yay\u0131lm\u0131\u015f T\u00fcrk d\u00fcnyas\u0131dan gelen sanat\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131n, resim, foto\u011fraf sergilerinin, m\u00fczik, sinema ve tiyatro yap\u0131laca\u011f\u0131\u00a0K\u00fclt\u00fcr merkezinin, \u00a0ileride, kar g\u00fctmeyen Non-Profit bir kurum olarak kurumsalla\u015fmas\u0131na karar verildi.
