Congress passed a law earlier this year that would put an end to their abusive tactics &#8212; including raising interest rates on our card balances for no reason &#8212; but the reforms don&#8217;t go into effect until February. In the meantime, they&#8217;ve been hiking interest rates, adding new fees and doubling our minimum payments.<\/p>\n<p>I just emailed my members of Congress telling them to implement the reforms now &#8212; not in another four months. We can&#8217;t wait that long for these abuses to stop, especially with the upcoming holiday season.<\/p>\n<p>Join me by going to Consumers Union&#8217;s money web site, www.creditcardreform.org, and send an email now.
