\nRund 100 Roma haben am Dienstag in Bukarest gegen einen Parlamentsantrag demonstriert, sie k\u00fcnftig in offiziellen Dokumenten nicht mehr als Roma, sondern als \u00bbZigeuner\u00ab zu bezeichnen, weil ihr Name zu nah an \u00bbRum\u00e4ne\u00ab liege und zu Verwechslungen f\u00fchren k\u00f6nne. Roma-Repr\u00e4sentant Nicolae Gheorghe warnte, die Wiedereinf\u00fchrung des Begriffs \u00bbZigeuner\u00ab werde \u00c4ngste vor Verfolgung sch\u00fcren. Er erinnerte daran, da\u00df die Nazis w\u00e4hrend des Zweiten Weltkriegs allein aus Rum\u00e4nien 25000 Roma deportierten und ermordeten. Insgesamt fielen bis 1945 bis zu einer halben Million Sinti und Roma dem Rassenwahn zum Opfer. (jW)<\/p>\n
