TEKFEN CONSTRUCTION and INSTALLATION Co. Inc is among Turkey's oldest and most succesful construction companies. It was founded in 1957 and formed the corner stone of TEKFEN HOLDING which embodies various companies active in greatly diversified and integrated fields of engineering, contracting, manufacturing, electronics, defense, trading, financing and service sectors with a yearly turnover of USD 2 billion.

TEKFEN has its name imprinted on almost all petroleum/petrochemical related complexes, pipelines, pumpstations, tankfarm and major turnkey industrial and infrastructural developement projects in Turkey. Construction of motorways and satellite towns could also be cited among those which have been tackled by TEKFEN successfully.

Since mid 1970's, TEKFEN has successfully participated in similar projects in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Iraq and C.S.I.. Local branches, subsidiary companies and joint ventures have been established to that effect.
