Rumours abound that Jennifer Lopez has invested in Istanbul, having fallen in love with the city after playing a concert in the Atakoy Arena as part of her “Dance Again” world tour.
The singer is said to have snapped up an apartment in Metropol Istanbul, one of the city’s most exclusive addresses, which is drawing attention from foreign and domestic investors alike.
The project consists of three high rises with 2,000 units with office space, homes, an enormous residential shopping centre and a tower vying to be the tallest in Europe all part of the development.
49 – 55 m² flats in the development’s B block start from £126,000, while 252,430 m² flats can be bought for around £552,000.
The Metropol is located in the Atasehir district, centrally located in the Asian side of the city, and Çalık Real Estate General Manager Feyzullah Yetgin has said that the singer was interested in flats with views of the Bosphorus.
